On February 23, 2019, Nicolas Maduro's militias started one of the harshest repressive waves against the people of villages near the border between Venezuela and Brazil. This was the response to the protests of the closures of the their borders and the impediment of the influx of aid to the population brought to its knees by the serious economic and social crisis. A story that further fueled the exodus from Venezuela, until the beginning of the pandemic about 500 Venezuelans fled to Brazil every day in search of a better life. Starting from the reconstruction of those tragic events, together with the protagonists we made the journey of hope for the new Latin American refugees, who often left the capital Caracas for the south of Brazil. A dramatic escape of seven thousand kilometers.

'Off-Identikit' is a documentary film about the extraordinary figure of Francesca Alinovi. During the 1970’s & 80’s, Bologna (Italy) and New York (United Stated) streets were undergoing new avant-garde movements. While many remained skeptical, Francesca Alinovi, an art critic from Italy, took strong admiration and immediately pioneered her discoveries all across Italy and Europe. She was also one of first who created a new figure in the contemporary art world: the art critic as an artist. She organized exhibitions for museums and galleries, but at the same time she chose to get out of the "ivory tower" crowd with intellectuals in order to follow the real dimension of being an artist. She was the first Italian woman brave enough to explore and discover new talents that way.
