Leonardo was born and raised in Rome in an environment that nurtured his artistic interests. His half-German, half-Hungarian family instilled in him a passion for cinema and animation. After completing high school, Leonardo pursued his higher education at the European Institute of Design (IED). In 2006, he earned a B.A. degree in Digital & Virtual Design, where he honed his skills in graphic design, video production, and cinema history.

It was during this time that Leonardo discovered his natural talent for videography, which would become his true calling. He continued his education in the United States, earning a Filmmaking degree at the New York Film Academy in 2012.

Following his studies, Leonardo worked with globally recognized brands such as Nike, Fanta, Budweiser, KIA Motors, QVC TV, Google, DreamWorks Pictures, l'Oréal, and the United Nations. He also collaborated with worldwide celebrities such as Helen Mirren, Taylor Hackford, Stephen Lang, John Turturro and Neil deGrasse Tyson. Many of Leonardo's projects were premiered at international festivals and platforms, including national television.

Today, Leonardo is recognized as a highly skilled cinematographer and editor with a deep understanding of film and video production. His passion for cinema and storytelling is evident in every project he undertakes, making him a valued contributor to the industry. His expertise and dedication have also led to teaching an intensive cinematography course at Pace University, further solidifying his role as a mentor and leader in the field.
